Even Mr. Legendary Leather comes upon a 'glitch' in the
process here and there. Seems as though you folks
will have to wait for the final pictures involving the
latest mystery project until Mr. Legendary Leather
can meet up with Frontier Rose and make the final fittings.
No worries, the mystery will be revealed
as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the Missus would like to share a
project that Mr. Legendary Leather has been
contemplatin' since last September. The Missus
was helping a very dear couple pack up for a big
move to Oregon. Mr. Al Truistic and Mrs.
Ami Able Truistic are the kindliest two people
you would ever want to encounter. In the process,
Al came upon an old knife in their belongings.
Having no clue as to where the knife came from
and knowing that Mr. Legendary Leather loves
dabbling in the bovine hide, they decided to pass
the knife along to him.
Mr. Legendary Leather took off the handle and contemplated
a mighty long time on what to do with the blade.
Some times the mind needs to clear and make way for new
and exciting things . . . and then the inspirations
can flow. Mr. Legendary Leather cleaned up the
blade and was then inspired to add an elk bone handle
and leather/brass embellishments.
He created a western style stamped sheath to compliment
the newly fashioned blade and handle. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs.
Truistic for their mighty fine generosity and encouraging thoughts
allowing Mr. Legendary Leather to provide another clever
creation for all you collectors out there. The Legendary
Leather Clan wishes them happiness in all they do!
Beautiful knife and sheath!
